REAGAN NATIONAL DEFENSE FORUM — After months of delays, the Pentagon finally unveiled its National Defense Strategy in October. Driving the development of that document was Mara Karlin, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategy, Plans, and Capabilities.

In the following video, Karlin talks with Breaking Defense’s Aaron Mehta about the development of the document, what the feedback has been, and what “integrated deterrence” really means.
