The ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, led the way yesterday with 18 other representatives in a letter to President Obama recommending that the US build a rocket engine to replace the Russian-made RD-180, sometimes used to loft into orbit our most expensive and highly classified spy satellites.
