A classified version of the NDS was released to the Hill in late March, weeks after it had been expected. Finally, on Oct. 12, the NSS was released. Two weeks later, the NDS followed. And that meant after months of hounding officials about where the report was, journalists and analysts could finally dive into what the report actually said.
