US Space Command recently updated its commercial integration strategy, that includes advocating for the Space Force to buy technologies deemed useful for operators, said Gen. Stephen Whiting, SPACECOM commander.
The five new CIC companies are BlackSky, Kratos, Leolabs, ICEYE and Telesat; Hawkeye 360 and Exoanalytic will join soon, a Space Force spokesperson told Breaking Defense today.

The strategy includes procuring SATCOM, space domain awareness and a handful of other commercial capabilities as "services" under leases or long-term contracts for access.
