WASHINGTON: Welcome to the second of our video stories drawn from our almost hour-long interview with Preston Dunlap, Chief Architect of Air and Space Forces. From that position, Dunlap helps guide the complex and far-reaching work the Air and Space Forces are doing in All Domain Operations, on JADC2, and, most centrally, on the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS). Look for these stories for the next few weeks.
The Pentagon is expected to unveil its Joint Warfighting Construct next month, which may well be the most important doctrinal and requirements document issued by the US military since the unveiling of Air-Land Battle in the depths of the Cold War. It’s designed to set the course for a huge array of programs from all five services, with the Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System in a particularly central position.
