Leidos’ Special Mission Aircraft — deployed by the US Army as ARTEMIS, the Aerial Reconnaissance and Targeting Exploitation Multi-Mission Intelligence System — was developed and deployed to both Pacific and European theaters under a novel business model known as “ISR as a Service”.

It shifts the burden for operation and maintenance onto Leidos under a Contractor Owned, Contractor Operated (COCO) model that lowers total cost of ownership for the Army.
