Rome will get five Rheinmetall Lynx KF-41 vehicles with Lance turrets, followed by 16 "newly configured vehicles equipped with the same chassis and Leonardo's Hitfist 30mm turret."
Leonardo’s new partnership arrives less than a month after it abruptly ended cooperation with Franco-German KNDS to jointly develop the Leopard 2A8 MBT after failing to agree on a mutually acceptable configuration.
