At the IISS Manama Dialogue, senior US officials pushed for more countries to join the historic agreement, but at least Lebanese and Syrian officials suggested it won't be that easy.
“I think that in terms of major achievements in the Abraham Accords, this will further throw dirt on the grave of Saudi-Israeli normalization," analyst Ryan Bohl told Breaking Defense.
"The president is certainly hopeful that more countries in the region will sign on to the Abraham Accords," said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

"Regardless of whether Harris or Trump wins this year’s presidential election, I don’t expect Saudi Arabia to normalize relations with Israel at any point in the foreseeable future," said Giorgio Cafiero, CEO of Gulf State Analytics, a US-based consulting firm.
Despite optimistic talk from top diplomats in both the US and Saudi Arabia, regional experts don't see any movement in the near term, due both to Riyadh's demands and the Gaza conflict.
The Oct. 7 attack by Hamas and Israel's retaliation also prompted the first-ever call between Saudi and Iranian leaders.

Ariel Karo, Rafael’s executive vice president for marketing and business development, during an interview with Breaking Defense, referring to the relationship with Gulf customers since the signing of the Abraham Accords.
